Local Funding Opportunities
In the midst of the global coronavirus pandemic, protecting our health and wellbeing, and supporting local services providers and communities is more important than ever. To help partners and communities in the Outer East we have listed below some new funding opportunities that are opening soon:
VicHealth are offering this program to local organisations who support young people (aged 0-25 years) or Victorians experiencing disadvantage, by creating meaningful social connection, providing opportunities for physical activity or by addressing food insecurity. The grants open on 16 September.
The purpose of the funding is to support the efforts of Victoria’s volunteers as well as to encourage and increase participation in volunteering by on-funding grants to provide small amounts of money that organisations and community groups can use to help their volunteers. Applications are open until 20 September.
Knox City Council is offering one-off allocation of funding through the The Hot Meals Program for Vulnerable Families Grant. Applications are open until 23 September.
Yarra Ranges are offering grant programs to support projects that are responding to opportunities and challenges in the community.
