2107 NCAS results launch 30 Nov 2018

ANROWS is pleased to announce the release date for the 2017 National Community Attitudes towards Violence against Women Survey (NCAS) findings! The 17,500 telephone interviews with Australians 16 years and over are complete, the data analysis is done, and the reports are almost ready.

The 2017 NCAS will be launched on 30 November at 10am during the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. At the launch a high level summary of the findings will be released, as well as useful infographics. The NCAS reports and resources will be available on the ANROWS website after the launch. Additional reports focusing on findings from young people, those from non-English speaking backgrounds, and Aboriginal people and Torres Strait Islanders will be released in 2019.

Watch this great short video by Vic Health summarising some of the NCAS findings in 2013. Lets hope we see an improvement in the updated results.
